Required Forms:
All required forms must be completed before the first lesson. These forms help me understand your child’s needs, set shared expectations, and create a safe, supportive learning experience from day one.

Scheduling:
Lessons are typically scheduled weekly. Flexible scheduling may be available upon request.

Cancellations + Rescheduling:

  • Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice— or missed lessons without notice (no-shows)— will be charged in full and are not eligible for rescheduling.

  • Rescheduling is possible based on availability if adequate notice has been given.

Lesson Commitment + Billing:

  • All lessons must be paid in advance, at least 24 hours before the scheduled time to confirm your spot.

  • Accepted payment methods include:

    • Venmo (preferred) or Zelle

  • If payment isn’t received on time, the lesson may be cancelled (without refund) or rescheduled with a late fee.

  • A late payment fee may apply if lessons are not paid on time.

Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late, lessons will still end at the originally scheduled time to respect other students’ sessions. If more than 7 minutes late, your lesson may be cancelled without refund.

Illness Policy:
If you or your child are unwell, please reschedule or switch to a virtual lesson when possible. In-person lessons should not be attended if experiencing any symptoms of illness.

Inclement Weather:
If there are inclement/dangerous weather conditions, the parent will be notified as soon as possible, and a virtual lesson or makeup lesson will be scheduled (without additional fees).

Parental Involvement:
Parents are welcome to quietly observe their child’s lessons, especially for younger students— if desired. A Parent/Guardian or Nanny (at least 18 years old) must be home for the lesson to take place. If the student does not have an appropriate party in the home, the lesson will be cancelled and charged in full (without eligibility for rescheduling).

Students should have their own instruments, bows, music books, and other materials. Guidance on rental or purchase options is available, upon request.

Refund Policy:

  • ALL lessons are non-refundable once they have started.

  • Lessons cancelled with adequate notice may be rescheduled, but no refunds are given for missed or skipped sessions.
