Making Practice Fun with Warm-Up Cards
Practice doesn’t have to feel boring or overwhelming—especially at the start.
Use warm-up cards or a practice game. You can create mini challenges on cards that make practice feel like a game.
Each card gives your child something quick and fun to try, like “play with a silly face,” “freeze after each note,” “play it backwards”, or “see how quiet you can play.”
These small challenges add playfulness, keep kids engaged, and can build their confidence.
Practice is a skill too— and the more positive it feels, the more consistent it becomes.
